TotalEnergies Marketing Ethiopia S.C. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Card Back Office Representative to manage client card requests, support sales operations, and ensure accurate processing of card creation, personalization, and top-ups.

TotalEnergies Marketing Ethiopia S.C. is the local affiliate, established in 1950. It markets fuels, lubricants, and specialty products through a network of over 120 service stations across Ethiopia, serving both retail and direct customers.

The Card Back Office Representative role plays a vital part in maintaining data integrity, delivering high-quality customer service, and contributing to the growth of the TotalEnergies Card business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Card requests, Creation & Personalization:

  • Process customer requests for card creation, renewal, replacement, and cancellations.

  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely card issuance.

  • Handle the personalization and distribution of customer cards & tags, including collection and record management.

  • Prepare and forward invoices for new replacement cards.

• Card Top ups:

  • Process card top-ups upon receiving validated requests and payments.

  • Review, compare, and validate personalized card reports against supporting documentation daily.

  • Reconcile daily records to ensure that all card creations and top-ups match actual customer requests.

• Document handling:

  • Maintain accurate filing of all contracts, amendments, card orders, card oppositions, and discharged cards.

  • Organize and archive customer-related documents systematically.

• Reporting:

  • Run and analyze the card trial balance on a weekly basis.

  • Submit weekly reports to the Card Sales Manager.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background: BA degree in Management, Marketing or related fields. 

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing-related activities. 

• Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities, high integrity, reliability, and commitment to performance excellence.

• Language: Excellent written and spoken English
