Develops planting and irrigation schedules, budgets, and timelines.
Researches and promotes agricultural strategies to counter the effects of changes in soil, climate, weather, and pest damage,
Assesses crop production of the farm,
Evaluates and improves seed quality,
Carries out laboratory tests of soil, seed, and crop samples,
Performs quality control for seed caliber and soil standards,
Visits fields to collect seed, plant, and soil samples,
Tests samples for nutritional deficiencies, diseases, or other changes
Conduct literature reviews to inform research direction.
Design and develop research methodologies, experiments, and surveys.
Formulate detailed research objectives and proposals.
Collect and organize data through experiments, surveys, interviews, and observational studies.
Analyze and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data using statistical tools.
Write research papers, reports, and summaries for publication and presentation.
Present findings at conferences and to stakeholders, management, or clients.
Manage research projects from inception to completion, including setting goals and budgets.
Maintain accurate research records and databases.
Collaborate with other researchers, academic institutions, and industry partners.
Keeps detailed records regarding fields, customers, crops, and samples,
Generates reports and presenting findings to management, clients, or other interested parties,
Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
