Job Description
A Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, and oversees the manufacturing and installation of mechanical systems and components. They apply engineering principles to solve problems related to machinery, tools, engines, and other mechanical devices
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software and engineering principles.
Project Management: Plan and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through production and installation.
Testing and Analysis: Conduct tests and simulations to evaluate the performance, safety, and reliability of mechanical systems.
Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications for projects and manufacturing.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
Problem Solving: Identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure all designs and processes comply with industry standards, codes, and health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
