Job Description
REALITY REAL ESTATE is a prominent player in the real estate development sector in Ethiopia. The company has focused on constructing high-quality residential apartments that meet the growing demands of urban living .
plan and manage logistics operation, transportation, fleet .
Ensure the provision of adequate vehicles and equipment to meet operating needs.
Manage the repair and maintenance activities of all vehicles.
Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Supervise, coach and train logistic staffs
Manage all operational issues such as permits form any concerned authority and related tasks;
Arranges transport for inbound and outbound;
Manage day-to-day fleet operations including allocation, maintenance, fuel tracking.
Makes sure that all light vehicle and Heavy truck are serviced periodically and manufacturers maintenance guideline and insure all repair and maintenance are as per vehicles maintenance guideline;
Provide monthly transport report with all information like; Maintenance cost, fuel consumption, availability, utilization, accident/incident and need satisfaction;
Follows up and manage in case of accidents necessary procedures (insurance company, traffic police, reporting, etc.);
Makes sure that all agreements like; vehicles maintenance, spare part and office rent are timely renewed;
oversee daily fleet operations and ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Manage fleet maintenance schedules and service records to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
Supervise and train fleet staff to maintain high standards of service.
Manage the fleet budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless fleet operations and support business goals.
Managing all aspects of vehicle operation, including licensing, insurance, and warranty
Planning and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
Developing and implementing policies and procedures for vehicle use and maintenance
Coordinating with drivers to ensure optimal performance and address any issues
Keeping accurate records of vehicle use and maintenance
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience:
MA/BA Degree in procurement and supply chain management, Logistic Management, Business Administration or in equivalent business fields with a minimum of 10 years work experience from which 3 years in managerial position.
Competencies:
Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational and Managerial skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
