BSD Real Estate is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

• Monitor project budgets and expenditures related to construction activities.

• Ensure accurate cost allocation and financial tracking for ongoing projects.

• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to maintain accurate financial data.

• Support management with financial forecasting and decision-making reports.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the construction industry is required.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Ethiopian tax laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or similar).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
