Awash Capital S.C. is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead its Corporate Finance and Advisory Division. The Chief Corporate Finance and Advisory Officer will be responsible for overseeing the origination, structuring, and execution of capital market and investment banking transactions, including M&A, equity and debt financing, business valuations, and corporate restructuring. The role requires strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, and a strong track record in financial advisory services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of corporate finance mandates including M&A, capital raising, and valuations

• Provide strategic financial advisory to corporate, institutional, and government clients

• Oversee financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction documentation

• Ensure compliance with ECMA, ESX, and internal policies

• Develop and implement departmental strategy aligned with company goals

• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to product innovation

• Lead and mentor the corporate finance team, fostering a culture of excellence

• Manage risk, enforce internal controls, and uphold ethical standards

Job Requirement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Capital Market regulations and securities operations

• Proven expertise in M&A, financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets

• CISI Level 1 certification (mandatory); CFA, ACCA, or CPA preferred

• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
