Quantity:

Location: CMC Michael, SETIT CITY MALL, 4th floor 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  •  Plans, organizes, directs, implements and controls the financial and accounting activities of the Company in an efficient and effective manner. 

  • Initiates and exerts an effort to improve and apply up-to-date accounting systems with the aim of improving efficiency.

  •  Conducts financial analysis such as ratio analysis, cost-benefit analysis, budget variance analysis, collection analysis whereby to measure and indicate financial performance of the Company. 

  • Facilitates conducting successive studies on the availability and sustainability of investments. 

  • Conduct feasibility studies to generate investment ideas and opportunities. 

  • Carries out project appraisal before the implementation and prepare project implementation schedule. 

  •  Assesses the magnitude of returns from investments. 

  •  Synthesizes financial data and provide to the concerned for decision. 

  • Devises efficient cash inflow and outflow systems thereby to indicate financial position of the Company. 

  • Makes sure that all relevant and necessary financial statements are readily available at the expiration of each financial year in respect of all business transactions. 

  •  Consult with and advise the Company's accounting personnel regarding prescribed fiscal and accounting regulation, acceptable accounting principles and techniques for proper control over revenue, expenditure of funds and other assets. 

  • Ensure that accounts of the Company and, statements of clients are up-to-date, accurate and to high standard of accounting procedures. 

  •  Exercise adequate control and makes sure that Company revenues are timely collected and disbursements effected timely and accurately. 

  • Prepare cheques, payment vouchers and other financial instruments if authorized jointly with other officials delegated for the task. 

  • Close and follow up timely books of accounts of the Company by internal and appointed auditors and make sure that their suggestions, comments and recommendations are given due attention. 

  • Ensure that Company fixed assets are properly registered, given proper registration

Job Requirements

Education 

  • MA/BA in Accounting and Finance

Work Experience 

  •  8–10 years of relevant experience 

  •  At least 5 years in a Finance Manager position 

Special Skills / Training 

  •  Proficiency in Accounting Software 

  • Strong time management and analytical skills 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint 

  • Problem-solving in Accounting and Finance
