We are looking for a skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure secure and efficient operations of hardware, software, and networks. This role involves troubleshooting issues, supporting end-users, and participating in IT infrastructure improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems (PCs, servers, network devices).

• Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet systems.

• Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

• Maintain security and privacy of information systems, communication lines, and equipment.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

• Perform system backups and data recovery procedures.

• Document internal procedures and produce reports on IT operations.

• Stay current with technology trends and recommend upgrades or improvements.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.

• Familiarity with network, server management and administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).

• Experience with hardware troubleshooting (PCs, printers, peripherals).

• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud platforms.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.

• Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCP), or Cisco (CCNA)
