Job Description

Our partner, Alliance Microfinance institution SC is a newly established MFI in Ethiopia  aimed to enhance the socio-economic empowerment of un banked people through accessing digital led financial services. Currently Alliance Microfinance institution would like to hire the following urgent positions in permanent basis.

The senior, Logistics and supply chain officer is responsible to manage the property of the company including damaged properties, general and janitorial services as well as purchasing activities.   

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Properly manages the properties of the company. 

  • Manages and overseas operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of properties of the company.

  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or properties of the company.

  • Inspects grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.

  • Assists in the preparation of detailed budgets and financial reports for properties.

  • Assists in the maintenance of records of sales, rental or usage activity, special permits issued, maintenance and operating costs, or property availability.

  • Directs and coordinates the activities of staff and contract personnel engaged in administration tasks and evaluate their performance.

  • Actively participate in  the procurement processes of common items. 

  • Supports branches and other offices in getting support and logistical services. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned and required. 

Job Requirements

  • Education: BA/MA in Management, Logistics Management or related fields of studies 

  • Experience: 5/3  years of relevant work experience and out of which minimum of  2/1 years’ experience in senior  position preferably in microfinance Sector

  • Special training: Competence in MS Office and hardworking with customer orientation
