Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, approvals, and payment execution.
Ensure timely payments to suppliers and adherence to payment terms.
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
Monitor and improve internal controls related to payments and cash disbursements.
Support monthly closing activities and prepare reports related to payment status and aging.
Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure alignment of payments with goods received.
Assist in audits and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on payments or accounts payable, preferably in a merchandising or retail environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and payment platforms.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
