Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout the vouchers process.
Scan items, ensure accurate pricing, and handle POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
Receive payments by cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, or other methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
Handle customer questions, concerns, or complaints professionally.
Follow store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and loss prevention.
Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts and report discrepancies.
Assist with bagging supermarket and help customers carry items when necessary.
Support other departments during non-peak hours as required
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–2 years experience.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems.
