Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and manage a team of staff across various departments. The Supervisor will assist in achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations and ensure all departments (e.g., supermarket produce, dairy, frozen, etc.) are functioning smoothly.
Monitor staff attendance, performance, and work schedules.
Provide guidance and support to staff on store procedures and customer service.
Assist with training new employees on store policies, safety protocols, and sales techniques.
Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and properly merchandised.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and receiving.
Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Support store promotions, displays, and seasonal campaigns.
Report operational issues and staff concerns to the Store Manager.
Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and reporting
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or supermarket supervision.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle customer concerns and resolve issues quickly.
Basic knowledge of inventory systems and POS operations.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
