Job Description
Job Title: Marketing Officer
Reports to: Head of Marketing & Medical director
Type: Contractual
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing & outreach strategies to promote hospital services and specialty programs
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, competitive landscape, patient needs, and trends in healthcare.
Manage brand image, ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing collateral (social media, website).
Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional campaigns, events, health fairs, seminars, community outreach, etc.
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources (clinicians, other hospitals, clinics),insurance companies / corporate clients,
Create content (social media posts &videos) to engage patients and the public.
Collaborate with internal hospital stakeholders (clinical departments, patient services, operations) to ensure accurate representation of services and quality.
Assist in preparing and managing the marketing budget,track expenditures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, in the healthcare sector. (More experience is a plus.)
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools: social media management, content creation,
Interpersonal skills: networking, relationship building, negotiation.
Creative thinking; able to generate new ideas.
Basic graphic design / familiarity with design software is a plus.
