  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, liaising with external auditors as necessary.

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

B. Cash & Budget Management

  • Cash Flow Management: Develop and maintain detailed weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts. Monitor daily cash positions and manage banking relationships.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads. Prepare regular financial forecasts and variance analyses, reporting on deviations from the budget and recommending corrective actions.

  • Working Capital Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize working capital, focusing on inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

C. Purchasing & Procurement

  • Oversee the company's purchasing function, ensuring a competitive and efficient procurement process for goods and services.

  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure cost-effectiveness and mitigate risk.

  • Manage key supplier relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms to support cash flow objectives.

  • Review and approve purchase orders and major procurement contracts in alignment with budgetary constraints.

D. Payment Collection (Accounts Receivable)

  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, payment application, and collection activities.

  • Establish and monitor credit policies for new and existing customers.

  • Lead the collections efforts for past-due accounts, implementing effective escalation procedures when necessary.

  • Analyze aging reports and provide regular updates on the status of receivables and potential bad debt exposure.

E. Team Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff (e.g., Accountants, AP/AR Clerks).

  • Identify and lead initiatives to automate and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary and performance-based bonus potential.

  • Paid time off and company holidays.

  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

  • A key leadership role with significant impact on the company's success.
