Job Description

Bisrate Gabriel International School is seeking a qualified and dedicated Student Guidance and Counselor (Female) to provide psychological, academic, and personal support to students. The counselor will play a key role in promoting students’ emotional well-being, positive behavior, and academic success through individual counseling, group sessions, and preventive programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, behavioral, and personal issues.
Identify students facing challenges and provide timely guidance and support.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student development and discipline.
Organize workshops, awareness sessions, and guidance programs on personal growth and mental health.
Maintain confidential student records and prepare periodic reports.
Refer students to external specialists when necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: B.Sc. Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year or above in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.
Gender: Female applicants only will be considered.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Teamwork and collaboration with academic staff.
