Job Summary:
Bisrate Gabriel International School is looking for qualified and experienced History and Geography Teachers to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking, global awareness, and a deep understanding of historical and geographical concepts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and educational standards
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity
Assess, record, and report on student learning progress regularly
Design and implement instructional materials and activities that foster analytical and research skills
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes
Support students in academic growth, motivation, and discipline
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development sessions
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Uphold school policies, values, and ethical standards
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
For History Teacher:
B.Ed. or Master’s Degree in History or BA Degree in History with a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT)
For Geography Teacher:
B.Ed. Degree in Geography or BA Degree in Geography with a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT)
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a private school setting
Excellent command of English and strong classroom management skills
Passionate about student success and continuous professional growth
