Job Summary:
Bisrate Gabriel International School is looking for qualified and experienced History and Geography Teachers to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking, global awareness, and a deep understanding of historical and geographical concepts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and educational standards

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity

• Assess, record, and report on student learning progress regularly

• Design and implement instructional materials and activities that foster analytical and research skills

• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes

• Support students in academic growth, motivation, and discipline

• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development sessions

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

• Uphold school policies, values, and ethical standards

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• For History Teacher:

  • B.Ed. or Master’s Degree in History or BA Degree in History with a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT)

• For Geography Teacher:

  • B.Ed. Degree in Geography or BA Degree in Geography with a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT)

• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a private school setting

• Excellent command of English and strong classroom management skills

• Passionate about student success and continuous professional growth
