Job Description
Bisrate Gabriel International School is seeking an experienced and motivated ICT Teacher to join our team. The ICT Teacher will be responsible for teaching computer skills and technology integration to students, preparing engaging lessons that promote digital literacy, problem-solving, and innovation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of information and communication technology.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ICT lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives
Teach students computer fundamentals, software applications, coding, networking, and responsible digital citizenship
Integrate technology into teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and achievement
Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly
Provide technical support and guidance to students in using ICT resources effectively
Encourage creativity and innovation in students through technology projects and assignments
Collaborate with other teachers to promote technology-based learning across subjects
Maintain and update ICT equipment, software, and learning tools in collaboration with the school’s IT team
Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Uphold school policies and contribute to a safe and positive learning environment
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
BSc or Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a private school
Strong knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and online learning platforms
Excellent communication, instructional, and classroom management skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students to learn and apply ICT skills
