Execute the QA QC activities of the project, from initiation to closeout ensuring the adherence to project schedule, specifications and drawings

Top Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and Conduct Internal Material inspections with subcontractors to verify the compliance to the specifications.

• Coordinate and conduct material inspections with consultant.

• Ensure all rejected materials from internal and consultant inspections are tagged and removed from the site.

• Coordinate and conduct internal work inspections with subcontractor to verify the compliance to drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate and conduct work inspections with consultant, communicate the inspection comments to subcontractor for implementation.

• Ensure that subcontractors are adhering to their ITP and ensure that inspections are raised accordingly.

• Conduct site surveillance, identify and record the deficiencies.

• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented on site to prevent recurring NCRs. Conduct internal inspections to verify the implementation of corrective actions.

• Coordinate with subcontractor, third-party laboratories and consultants for various field tests.

• Organize / conduct internal and subcontractor audits.

• Coordinate/follow up with subcontractors for the project close out documents.

• Coordinate and conduct internal snagging with subcontractors, prepare internal sang list.

•  Coordinate and conduct snagging inspections with consultant

• Coordinate with subcontractor for completing the corrective actions and conduct internal inspections to verify the implementation.

• Coordinate and Conduct inspections with consultant to close the snags recorded

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

•   Minimum B.Sc in Civil Engineering /Construction Management and related field.

• 5 years and above experience in construction specifically in Quality Assurance and Quality Control

Critical criteria/Skill to be successful in this role:

• Technical skills and experience in construction activities, tests and management systems

• Knowledge about standards

• Reporting skill

• Candidates must be comfortable working at night and weekends

• Good troubleshooting skills

• Able to work in high pressure, time sensitive conditions;

• Attention to detail;

• Strong communications skills and customer service orientation;

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude;

•  Ability to supervise others’ work and coach for performance.
