Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and off boarding.

  • Implement and manage the company’s job grading system, salary structure, and benefits framework.

  • Oversee performance management including OKRs, KPIs, CFRs, and annual reviews.

  • Ensure timely preparation and renewal of employment contracts and offer letters.

  • Maintain compliance with Ethiopian labor law, company policies, and health & safety regulations.

  • Promote employee engagement, welfare programs, and professional development plans.

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, facility maintenance, supplies, logistics, and asset control.

  • Supervise administrative staff including drivers, receptionists, and maintenance personnel.

  • Ensure proper document filing, archiving, and access protocols for HR and administrative records.

  • Coordinate travel, event, and meeting logistics for all business units.

  • Support procurement and inventory oversight for non-technical goods.

  • Develop and enforce HR and Admin-related policies, procedures, and manuals.

  • Ensure adherence to internal rules and external regulatory bodies (e.g., ERCA, MoLSA).

  • Coordinate with legal and audit units for compliance reviews and dispute resolution.

  • Administer HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and attendance systems.

  • Maintain secure digital and physical employee records.

  • Work closely with Finance for payroll, benefits, and audit coordination.

  • Support business units with workforce planning, disciplinary procedures, and training.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to organizational planning.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of HR experience, 

  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills (English + Amharic).

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS tools.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Experience in both HR and general administration functions (preferred).
