Duties and Responsibilities: - Preparing and reviewing monthly/quarterly/annual statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP/IFRS. - Maintaining, reconciling, and ensuring accuracy of ledger entries. - Leading closing processes, resolving discrepancies, and performing flux analysis (YoY/MoM) to guide decision-making. - Upholding internal controls, assisting with audits, and ensuring adherence to tax regulations (corporate tax, VAT). - Streamlining accounting workflows (e.g., automation, ERP enhancements) and mentoring junior staff. - Partnering with AP, AR, FP&A teams and external stakeholders (auditors, banks). Technical Competencies: - Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs). - Expertise in GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
