Job Title: Sales Representative

Department: Sales & Marketing

Section: Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Sales Manager / General Manager

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting company products and services, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through field visits, cold calling, networking, and referrals.

  •  Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.

  •  Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

  •  Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.

  •  Negotiate and close sales deals while meeting specified sales targets.

  •  Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports and updates.

  •  Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure order processing and timely delivery.

  •  Participate in marketing and promotional activities when required.

  •  Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions in a timely manner.

  •  Maintain a professional company image during all customer interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 1 – 2 years of Sales and Marketing related work experience in similar industry is require

  •  Proven work experience as a Sales Representative is an advantage.

  •  Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

  •  Good knowledge of the market and sales principles.

  •  Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCY

  • Ability to work the activities detailed above in time and in reasonable accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and other staff.
