Ethio Leather Industry is one of Ethiopia’s leading leather manufacturers, dedicated to excellence, innovation, and sustainable production. As part of our continued digital transformation and modernization efforts, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Division Head to lead our Information Technology division.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with deep expertise in ERP systems, software development, hardware management, and database administration.

The IT Division Head will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s IT strategy, managing all technology systems and infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration of IT solutions with business operations. This role requires a visionary leader with both technical and managerial expertise to drive innovation, system efficiency, and cyber security across the organization.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or Master’s Degree in IT Management, MIS, or Business Administration is an advantage.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Proven experience managing ERP systems, software development teams, hardware infrastructure, and database administration.

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

• Proficiency in programming languages and software development methodologies. 

• In-depth understanding of networking, hardware, and IT infrastructure.

• Solid experience with database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle DB, or MySQL.

• Knowledge of cyber security best practices and IT governance frameworks.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strategic thinker with a proactive and hands-on approach.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
