Chico Meat Ethiopia Plc is a processor of top-quality chicken meat products. We have an ambitious plan to grow. To make this plan successful, the company is looking for an experienced GM.
 The GM is head of the Management Team and works closely with other members of the Management Team in executing the business plan. The GM further develops and implements the strategic plan together with the Board.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Positioning and develop Chico Meat by:

• Passion for the brand and the customers

• Hire, motivate, engage, and develop the crew

• Shape and guide procedures for Production, Administration, Financial & Sales, and everything in between

• Oversee day-to-day operations

• Ensure our customers enjoy our promise: “Taste the Quality.”

• Drive results, ensure a profitable operation in line with the plan for growth

• Manage relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Board, out growers, Government) and key-clients.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

• Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude

• Good with people and enjoy chatting with clients

• Skilled multitasker who can balance a long-term vision and day-to-day delusion

• Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a leader in Food / Production operations

• Strong background in Food operations and / or Leisure / Retail.

• Experience in planning and budgeting

• Strong and connecting personality

• Knowledge of Ethiopian business acumen, rules, taxes, and regulations a plus
