Job Description

Job Summary :-  We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Parts Sales Executive to join our team. As a Senior Parts Sales Executive, you will be responsible for efficiently ordering and tracking parts, applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) principle to determine minimum order quantities, and maintaining optimal parts stock levels. Your expertise in using electronic parts catalogues and identifying parts demand will be essential to meet customer requirements. With a customer-centric approach, you will serve our valued clients with a smile and build lasting relationships. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating a robust parts inventory system and developing a comprehensive customer database. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of ten years of experience in Parts operation and sales on Geely vehicles, with at least four years in a senior position. Strictly automotive industry experience is required for this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Independently manage parts orders and ensure timely tracking and delivery to meet customer needs and service department requirements.

  • Apply the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) principle to determine minimum order quantities, optimizing inventory management and cost-effectiveness.

  • Prepare and maintain parts stock levels, conducting regular stock checks to avoid shortages and excess inventory.

  • Utilize electronic parts catalogues efficiently to identify and locate specific parts for customer orders and service requests.

  • Proactively identify parts demand based on market trends and customer feedback, ensuring readiness for future requirements.

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, serving customers with a smile, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

  • Establish and manage a comprehensive parts inventory system to streamline stock management and parts tracking processes.

  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to understand their parts requirements and coordinate timely order placements.

  • Stay updated with industry developments, new parts releases, and changes in vehicle models to enhance product knowledge.

  • Build and maintain a customer database, including contact information and purchase history, to support personalized sales strategies and marketing efforts.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field is required.

Experience:-

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Parts operation and sales, specifically on Geely Cars, with at least four years in a senior position.

  • Proven track record in the automotive industry with in-depth knowledge of parts management and sales processes.

  • Familiarity with parts inventory management systems and software is advantageous.

Skills :-

  • Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogues and a keen eye for identifying parts demand.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage parts inventory efficiently.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when needed
