Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agricultural Machinery Technician to join our team at Kerchanshe Trading PLC. As a Senior Agricultural Machinery Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our Tractor maintenance and repair operations, with a focus on McCormick Tractor. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least 4 years of specialization in European brand maintenance. Your expertise in electronic diagnostics and calibration will be instrumental in delivering high-quality service to our valued customers. This role is based in Gelan and requires no supervision, as you will be expected to independently handle a wide range of Tractor Maintenance tasks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on European brand vehicles, adhering to the highest industry standards.

  • Utilize state-of-the-art electronic diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve Tractor issues efficiently.

  • Perform system calibrations and adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance and adherence to manufacturer specifications.

  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and propose appropriate solutions to customers.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends through continuous learning and training.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and maintenance procedures performed on each vehicle.

  • Offer technical guidance and support to junior technicians when necessary.

  • Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns professionally and respectfully.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

Education :

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Mechanization, Automotive Technology, Auto Mechanics, or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of Agricultural Machinery systems, components, and their interworking is mandatory.

Experience:-

  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience as an Agricultural Machinery Technician, with a specialization of at least 4 years in European brand vehicle maintenance.

Skills :-

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch results.

  • Ability to work independently without supervision and take full responsibility for your work.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and Tractors advancements.

  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as required
