Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the production department to ensure the accuracy and completeness of standard costing.

  • Regularly update the standard costing system, including Bills of Materials (BOM) and SKU-level cost data, to reflect current production methods.

  • Monitor and follow up on the timely closure of completed production jobs in coordination with the production team.

  • Analyze variances between standard and actual production costs, identify root causes, and report findings with recommended actions.

  • Oversee all operational finance activities related to production, supply chain, and commercial functions.

  • Analyze product costing, inventory valuation, and margin performance to support informed strategic decision-making.

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for operational departments and conduct monthly variance analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Partner with plant and commercial managers to provide financial guidance, enhance operational efficiency, and drive cost optimization initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide financial support to operational teams during audits, pricing decisions, and strategic planning processes.

  • Oversee the preparation and review of timely and accurate management reports and financial statements for operational leadership.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and assessing their financial implications.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop plant and cost accountants across multiple sites to build a strong and consistent finance function.

  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate supplier performance and monitor material cost trends.

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of ERP and financial systems to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

  • Ensure effective working capital management by monitoring operational aspects of inventory, receivables, and payables.

Job Requirements

Education 

  • MA Degree or BA Degree in Finance or Accounting or Accounting & Finance or Management or Business Administration or related fields. 

Required Experience

  • 10 Years of Work Experience for MA Degree or 12 Years of Work Experience for BA Degree  in Financial Management  and Analysis or Preparing Accurate and Timely Financial Reports or Providing Valuable Insights to Management for Decision-Making or  related Activities Out of which 4 years on Managerial Position.
