A junior edible oil refinery operator assists in the daily operations, monitoring, and maintenance of refinery equipment to produce high-quality edible oils while strictly following safety and quality control procedures.

Key Role and Responsibility:-

• Operational Support: Assist senior operators in running process equipment for refining steps such as degumming, bleaching, filtration, and deodorization.

• Monitoring and Data Collection: Conduct routine rounds of the plant, read and record data from gauges, flow meters, and control panels (DCS/SCADA), and report findings to supervisors.

• Quality Control: Collect samples of oil and other materials from the process stream for laboratory analysis to ensure product specifications are met.

• Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine field-level inspections, light maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment, including pumps, heat exchangers, and pipelines.

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, work permit procedures, and emergency response protocols. Identify and report any hazards or malfunctioning equipment immediately.

• Material Handling: Assist in the proper handling, loading, and unloading of raw materials, chemicals, and additives used in the refining process.

• Teamwork and Training: Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments (e.g., maintenance, quality control). Participate in training programs to develop skills.

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: bachelors of new graduates from renown university in industrial chemistry, applied chemistry, chemical engineering, process, food technology/engineering, mechanical, industrial, electrical/automation/instrumentation engineering.

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical principles, industrial equipment (pumps, valves, etc.), and process control systems.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication (written and verbal), and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Work Environment: Willingness to work in a shift system (nights, weekends) and in various industrial conditions that may involve exposure to noise, dust, and hot surfaces.

• Physical Fitness: A certain degree of physical fitness may be required for manual labor and moving equipment.

• Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment is essential.
