Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and update local purchasing plan and report performances to ensure that Company objectives and goals are achieved;

  • Evaluate and analyze department’s performance and communicate recommendation on potentials for improvement to the top management of the Company;

  • Establish and revise the policies, procedures and work instructions of Local Procurement section;

  • Establish effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of commodities using the most appropriate Local Procurement procedures;

  • Collaborate with the Human Resource Management Section of the Company in the recruitment, selection, training and development processes for the Local Procurement staff;

  • Foster a productive working environment in the Local Procurement section;

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management or related field

  • At least 10  - 12 years of related experience in trading company operation out of which 4 years in management position.

  • In depth knowledge of local procurement requirements, regulations and procedures,

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills 

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently

  • Attention to detail
