Ethiopian Heart association was established by patients with heart and related problems, professionals working on heart diseases and others who support the association to accomplish its mission. Our Vision is to be the strongest association of patient and cardiac professionals in East Africa. Our mission is to improve cardiovascular patient care in Ethiopia by creating networks of patients and professionals, promoting patients’ right to get optimal cardiovascular services, and raising awareness on cardiovascular disease prevention and adherence to treatment. We also aim to raise funds and attract donors for patients who cannot afford expensive treatments, collaborate with other stakeholders to improve CVD care in Ethiopia, and contribute to professional skill development in Ethiopia.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven manager to lead strategic initiatives, drive resource mobilization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with EHA’s mission and goals. 

• Develop and write compelling proposals and grant applications to secure funding from 

• local and international donors. 

• Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships. 

• Coordinate and oversee program planning, implementation, and reporting. 

• Support the Association’s advocacy, public relations, and stakeholder engagement efforts. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

• Doctor of Medicine with at least one year service  related to this position.

Desired Capacities and Experiences

• Proven experience in proposal writing, grant management, and fundraising. 

• Prior work experience in a health-related organization is highly desirable. 

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

• Good use of digital networking and social media
