Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and preparing employment contracts.

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll processing.

  • Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.

  • Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions.

  • Coordinate training and development programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Assist in performance management and employee appraisal processes.

  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by HR management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certifications like SHRM/PHR is a plus).

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law (or applicable local laws).

  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Fluent in English and Amharic.
