Job Description

Under the direct supervision of HR operations Manager,  Learning and Development Specialist is responsible to handle human resource development activities which includes performance management system, training and development such as assess the training and development needs of each department to drive its growth by conducting the training needs analysis (TNA), Identify learning opportunities for candidates who exhibit leadership and supervisory qualities, create and implement individual and collective training plans for employees, Collect feedback from employees about the progress of training programs,

Duties & Responsibilities:

Learning Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement the factory’s annual learning and development plan aligned with business objectives.

  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, audits, and discussions with department heads.

  • Create competency frameworks for key roles in production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

  • Auditing and assessing learning and development needs.

  • Conduct training need assessment

  • Identify individual gap assessment.

  • Developing training plans

  • Prepare training curriculum, training content, training material.

  • Managing the organization’s learning systems

  • Collecting feedback

  • Supports the supervisors in determining training needs of their team, discuss those needs with the department Directors and assists him/her in determining appropriate staff development plans.

  • Facilitates the implementation of RSDPLC performance appraisal system; ensures that managers are equipped with the necessary skills to conduct probationary evaluations and annual appraisals.

  • Assist in designing and implementation of a comprehensive communication plan whereby the employees are kept abreast of issues related to human resource development matters.

    2. EHS Compliance

  • Monitor periodic PPE distribution to eligible staff.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Oversee workplace safety, security of employees, company assets, and vehicles.

  • Ensure timely reporting and documentation of incidents.

    3. Report

  • Prepare periodical unit’s performance report and up on request

Job Requirements

Qualification 

  • BA Degree in Human Resources Management/ Management/Business Administration or other related fields of study.

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience is in training and development, performance management and/or other related activities out of which three years in senior or equivalent capacity.
