Job Description

The Senior Accountant at Canopy Hotel will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting. This full-time position is designed for individuals at a junior level with 1-3 years of experience in accounting. The role involves working collaboratively in an office environment to support the finance department's goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail while effectively communicating financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and budgets.

  • Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation.

  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

  • Assist in payroll processing and related financial activities.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.

  • Participate in special projects and contribute to financial strategy development.
