Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage modern trade channel sales within assigned areas, ensuring achievement of sales targets, market share growth, and effective execution of in-store visibility and promotional activities. The role holder will strengthen relationships with key modern trade customers to drive sustainable business growth.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and distribution targets for assigned modern trade customers.

  • Develop and execute joint business plans with key modern trade partners.

  •  Negotiate listings, visibility, and promotional activities with key accounts.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, pricing, and competitor activities.

  • Ensure effective execution of trade marketing initiatives and planograms.

  • Manage a team of sales representatives and merchandisers to ensure excellence in execution.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance and market insights.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and marketing to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements

Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA is an advantage).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in Modern Trade channel management.

  • Proven experience in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
