Production machine, different toolkit that helps to test the product, .
Duties & Responsibilities:
Testing and Analysis of Chemical Products:
Perform quality control tests on raw materials and finished construction chemicals (such as adhesives, sealants, coatings, concrete additives, etc.).
Conduct tests to ensurethe chemical properties of products meet regulatory standards and industry specifications.
Formulation and Product Development:
Assist in the formulation of new construction chemicals, including admixtures, sealants, waterproofing compounds, and other products.
Collaborate with research and development (R&D) teams to improve product performance or develop new applications for chemicals in construction.
Testing for Durability and Strength:
Test the durability, adhesion, and chemical resistance of construction products, ensuring they performwell in variousenvironmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, moisture).
Assess how the products interact with materials like cement, concrete, metals, and plastics.
Sampling and Material Quality Control:
Collect and prepare samples for testing, ensuring uniformity and accuracy in sample representation.
Monitor raw materials andfinished product batches to ensure consistent product quality.
Compliance with Industry Standards:
Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with ISO standards, environmental regulations, and other relevant building codes.
Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and conduct environmental impact assessments as required.
Documentation and Reporting:
Record detailed data of testresults, observations, andproduct formulations.
Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to product managers, R&D teams, and quality assurance departments.
Safety and Environmental Monitoring:
Monitor laboratory safety standards and ensure that hazardous materials are stored and disposed of properly.
Assist with developing and implementing protocols for safe chemical usage in the production environment.
Inventory Management and Procurement:
Track laboratory supplies and chemicals used in testing.
Manage inventory levels of essential raw materials andcoordinate with procurement departments.
Perform otherjob-related duties as required by the company
6. Health, Safety,and Environmental Awareness:
Knowledge of chemical safetyprotocols (e.g., OSHA regulations, GHS labeling) and safe handling of hazardous materials.
Understanding of environmental impactassessment procedures for construction chemicals.
Certifications and licenses
Physical Environment
Certified Chemical Technician (CCT):
ISO 9001 Certification (Quality Management Systems):
This certification demonstrates an understanding of quality management systems, particularly in the context of manufacturing, and is valuable for those involved in quality controlof construction chemicals.
Certified Laboratory Technician (CLT):
Certification from professional bodies such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) can be valuable, even if the technician is working in industrial ratherthan clinical settings, as it ensures competency in laboratory environments.
Certified Construction Materials Technician (CMCT):
Occupational Health and Safety Certifications (OSHA):
Certifications such as the OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 in construction can be useful to understand health, safety, and environmental

Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum):

Post-Graduate Education (Optional):
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Construction Materials Engineering, or related fields can be an advantage, especially for research-focused roles.
Certifications or diplomas in construction material technology or construction chemicals can also be valuable.
Working Experience
-3 years of experience, working with construction chemicals, performing quality control, and assisting with product development or formulation.
Experience in managing laboratory workflows and working with industrial-grade materials and chemicals used in construction.
Skills
Working Environment
Technical Skillsin Chemistry andConstruction Materials:
Knowledge of chemical properties and testing methods related to construction chemicals (e.g.,curing agents, concrete admixtures, sealants).
Familiarity withconcrete mix designs, polymer-based materials, and additive manufacturing.
Laboratory Techniques and Equipment Handling:
Skilled in using laboratory equipment (e.g., viscometers, calorimeters, spectrophotometers, and other analytical instruments).
Proficiency in strength testing, viscosity measurement, and chemical stability testing for construction materials.

Ability to analyze complex data and interpret results, using statistical software or specialized chemical analysis tools.

Skilled in troubleshooting problems related to laboratory equipment or manufacturing processes.
