Job Description

Hope Enterprises is a local civil society organization established in 1971. As a pioneering national NGO, it has been serving the needy through transformational investment, operating seven branches and area projects in different regions, as well as a university college in Addis Ababa. HOPE works in holistic human development through Basic Care, Value Maturity, Education, Competency, and Sufficiency. The organization is seeking qualified professionals who can build on what has already been achieved.

Work Location:

  • Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the field 

Salary and Benefits

  • Based on the organization’s salary scale and policies.

Terms of Employment

  • Contract, dependent on the project duration.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

Special Skills/Training:

  • Peachtree

  • Basic computer skills

  • Other updated financial trainings and procedures

Experience:

  • 11 years for Bachelor’s degree holders / 7 years for Master’s degree holders

  • Out of these, 2 years must be in a managerial position

  • (Experience managing or coordinating the finance department of an NGO is preferable)
