Job Description

To support the company in the implementation of its strategy by development, implementation, administration, and communication of Performance Management Framework and enhancing the productivity and competency of employees at all levels through robust and efficient learning and development processes and programs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements and monitors Performance Management to enable employees and teams understand the goals of the company and to identify how individual and team outputs contribute to the achievement of the overall objectives.

  • Coordinates organization-wide skill and competencies (Learning Needs Analysis) analysis to identify gaps, and to identify and evaluate alternative training program options. 

  • Supervises the performance review and learning process by ensuring proper implementation of the system, advising managers, and providing coaching sessions when necessary.

  • Works with key stakeholders e.g. strategy to establish and support the link between strategic business objectives and employee’s day-to-day actions and tasks by implementing a process for tracking progression from goal setting, mid-year reviews and end of year evaluations to support individual, team and organizational performance.

  • Develops and implements effective learning and development strategies that will support the overall objectives. 

  • Conducts leadership assessments, and designs and implements appropriate leadership development programs.

  • Ensures targeted communication and capacity building programs in the performance management process to enable managers to effectively evaluate and measure individual and team performance and to optimize performance and productivity.

  • Develops and reviews competency mapping framework and ensures the appropriate application of competency dictionaries in performance management, career development and other talent programs. 

  • Oversees the implementation of key performance measures, core competencies and core values into performance appraisal system.

  • Contributes to the design, implementation, and management of effective recognition programs, in liaison with the Compensation and Benefit Experts, to reward staff contributions.

  • Maintains data integrity for all aspects of performance management as needed to support automated applications used in implementing performance programs and processes. 

  • Responsible for succession planning including, successors selection for all key positions, identifying talent gaps and ensuring development of successors to close these gaps.

  • Collaborates with functions to coordinate the orderly delivery of in-house training and development activities as well as external seminars and conferences, in line with the training and development plan and budget.   

  • Evaluates training by conducting survey to receive feedback from the participants regarding the training curriculum/ modules and training effectiveness.

  • Drives company-wide processes for sharing best practice, tools/materials and on-going communication activities for performance improvement. 

  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

Education:

  • BA or MA Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration/Management/ Public Administration Development Management or related fields.

Experience:  

  • 5 years of relevant experience 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with interpreting performance data and statistics.

  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.

  • Excellent training and Coaching Skills.

  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel

  • Time management skills.
