TruLuv Granola is an artisanal all-natural snacks company based out of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We are a dynamic female-led business started in 2016, that makes healthy snacks made with ingredients we aim to sustainably source from local smallholder farmers and that are crafted by Ethiopian women.

TruLuv Granola is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our administrative functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our office who will directly report to the GM. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and proactive individual who is eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Office Support

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

  • Writing outgoing letters, receiving incoming letters and forwarding them to the relevant department

  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures.

  • Ordering office supplies and looking for new deals and suppliers

  • Make sure the monthly Wi-Fi and water, electricity bills are paid on time

Data Entry

  • Updating internal databases and registering new employment information

  • Writing circulars, memos, reports, confidential letters etc. for assigned departments

Team Management and Scheduling

  • Management of security, cleaning, babysitting departments

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for team members, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made/

  • Ensuring the safety and cleaness of the premises and employees,

Document Management

  • Building and maintaining the management file system at the organization.

  • Updating existing employee’s files and creating the files for new employees and make sure existing employees files are well maintained; annual leave and balance control and reporting to the accounting department

Customer Service and Lesioning

  • Welcoming visitors and customers, providing information and directing the visitor(s) to the waiting person

  • External organization such as business license renewal, FDA license renewal execution etc.

  • Respond to basic correspondence and inquiries as agreed with the General Manager.

Assistance to Management

  • Assisting Supply Chain Manager in collecting proformas, collecting proformas

  •  Assist the General Manager and perform other duties as per his/her request and instructions

Overall, contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: BA Degree/diploma additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary ,HR knowledge is a plus

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience 2 years in an administrative role or similar position

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal of Amharic and English language

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
