Job Description
Cost Accountant is responsible for Analyze and record cost data as per the policy and procedure of the company.
Position Title: Cost Accountant - CA252025
Job Category: Professional
Quantity Required: 5
Duties and Responsibilities:
Record and collect data to determine costs of business activities such as Direct material Direct Labour, Factory Overhead, Selling and Distribution Expenses and General and Administrative Expenses
Assist in developing standard cost
Produce a report of Cost of Goods Manufactured and Sold
Performs regular cycle counts to correct inventory misstatements.
Undertake monthly reconciliation and updating of standard costs to actual costs
Maintenance of a perpetual inventory system for materials.
Reconciliation of inventory balances.
Provide accurate and timely financial information including actual product costs and standard costs for new products.
Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting system
Assist in month-end and year-end closing by analyzing inventory and preparing supplemental reports as needed.
Perform related assignments given by immediate supervisor as required
understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting
Significant hands-on experience using an integrated ERP system
Job Requirements:
Education: 2nd or 1stDegree in Accounting and Finance
Experience: 2 or 4 years relevant Experience
