The Trainer for Road Construction Projects is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of personnel involved in road construction, requiring a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and hands-on experience, while preparing instructional materials, conducting workshops and on-site training, assessing training needs, designing tailored curricula, evaluating program effectiveness, and staying updated with industry best practices and safety regulations to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement that contributes to the successful execution of road construction projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• prepare training Curriculum, modules, and Schedules

• Conduct training Sessions for Skilled labors and foreman

• provide hands on practical and theoretical training based on the prepared Modules.

• Evaluate trainees’ performance through periodic assessment

• Identify gaps in trainee Knowledge and provide tailored Support and training

• Assess gaps on projects, review modules, and advise project manager and training Manger

• Develop updated training plans for skilled labors progression Ladders.

• Advice the training Manager on training Updates and Improvement's every weekly Meeting

• Report training progress and Challenges to the training manager

• Assist with preparing trainees for COC Exam by Conducting on Site Evaluation

• Ensuring materials and tools are available on projects

•  Maintain attendance and performance records for all trainees

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Proven experience in road construction projects.

• Minimum of three years of experience in training personnel, specifically in road construction projects.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
