Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management, purchase, and replenishment of goods in a sales establishment.

• Ensure maintenance of stock levels.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards.

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

• Compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

• Compile data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports, and enter information accordingly.

• Keep back-order files in an established sequence and release back orders for issue as stock becomes available.

• Compile stock control records and information, such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and the need for replenishment.

• Prepare requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.

• Compare nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify the accuracy of requisitions and orders.

• Review files to determine unused items and recommend disposal of excess stock.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with relevant work experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Stock Controller.
