Loan managers are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of their company's lending department. They commonly oversee a team of loan officers and other employees, and they may also be involved in developing new products or services to help grow the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the loan application process, reviewing and analyzing loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Evaluating the loan application process, gathering required financial documentation, and approving or denying loan requests based on financial calculations.

• Ensure compliance with lending regulations and company policies in the loan origination and approval process.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve loan processing efficiency and customer service.

• Provide guidance and support to loan officers in assessing creditworthiness, evaluating loan applications, and making lending decisions.

• Monitor and manage the loan portfolio to minimize risk and maintain healthy asset quality.

• Approving or denying loan requests, and communicating your decision to both clients and management.

• Setting up payment plans for clients explaining monthly installment amounts, interest rates, and other costs.

• Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.

• Maintaining records of loan applications by using loan management software.

• Managing loan renewals by organizing follow-up meetings with clients.

• Monitoring the progress of the loan application process and relaying any hindrances to clients.

• Ensuring that loan applications are in line with the company's financial policies, as well as state laws and regulations.

• Ensures loan officers provide comprehensive suite of financial services to Yegna clients, including credit and savings products.

• Provide advice and guidance to loan officers on appropriate methods for cross selling other Yegna products, including savings, to clients.

• Provide advice and guidance to Loan officers on strong customer relationship building and promotion of lasting account relationships.

• Conducts active marketing campaign to mobilize more borrowers in consultation with departments, and management branches.

• To devise in cooperation with the appropriate departments a performance management approach for credit services.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or in a related field of study

Experience:

• 3 years of working experience in a similar role
