Job Description
Minaye PLC is seeking a detail-oriented Planning Officer with a background in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering to optimize production planning, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency in our furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to enhance productivity and ensure timely project delivery.
Required Number: 3
Develop and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines.
Coordinate with procurement, workshop, and logistics teams to align material and labor resources.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in planning processes.
Prepare reports on production metrics (e.g., output, waste, downtime).
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track inventory and workflow.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 1+ years in production planning, manufacturing, or operations (furniture/woodworking industry a plus).
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, or planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Attributes: Organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
