The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial data related to costs and expenses, preparing accurate reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand cost drivers and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Post inventory (GRN SIV GTV) at the proper account.

• Prepare imported items cost build up sheet and post after approval.

• Reconcile and report Inventory with controlling account . 

• Reconcile and report monthly inventory record with store report via e-mail.

• The report should be reliable ,complete , timely & based on defined format & frequency

• Issue Store requesting for sold Items present with supporting document (contract agreement).

• Check Daily production report.

• Gathering running cost from GL, machine layout & work orders to enter cost data to excel format.

• Prepare & post cost allocation to manufacturing cost according to proper work order in excel.

• Prepare & Post finished goods unit cost after approved. The reporting should be via email

• Post all Invoice, Receipt FGRV with Quantity in a proper Income and cost Sector under proper customer account.

• Reconcile & report AR subsidiary account with Controlling Account via email for Senior Staff.

• Reconcile Monthly inventory with store report & Report finished goods inventory via e-mail for Senior Staff.

• Follow up customer ledger and collection on timely.

• The report should be reliable ,complete , timely & based on defined format & frequency

• Perform all other duties as & when assigned by the Finance Senior Staff

 Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, or in a related field of study with relevant work experience

• Experience: 2 years of work experience preferably in Garment manufacturing.

Required Skills:

• IFRS Certification  

• Computer application preferably in excel , Peachtree accounting software and also ERP
