Job Description

The Real Estate HR and Office Manager is responsible for leading and managing all human resources and office-related functions in Hill Bottom real estate. They are responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the office and the development, implementation, and administration of human resources policies, programs, and practices.

A. Human Resources Management Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: - Develop recruitment strategies and processes to attract and identify qualified candidates for various positions in the real estate company. - Conduct interviews, screen resumes, and facilitate the hiring process. - Collaborate with hiring managers to identify future staffing needs and create job descriptions.

  • Employee Relations: - Handle employee relations matters, including conflicts, complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions. - Investigate and resolve employee issues in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws. - Ensure a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.

  • Performance Management: - Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms. - Advise managers on performance improvement strategies and assist with developing performance improvement plans, as deemed necessary.

  • Training and Development: - Identify training and development needs for employees and create programs to address these needs. - Coordinate and deliver training sessions for employees and managers on topics such as communication, leadership, and compliance. - Collaborate with external training providers, as required. - Develop and organize SOP (standard operating procedure) for each department

  • Compensation and Benefits: - Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Conduct salary surveys and analysis to ensure the competitiveness of the company's compensation plans. - Review and update employee benefits programs to attract and retain top talent in the real estate industry.

  • Compliance: - Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure the company's HR policies and practices are in compliance. - Maintain personnel records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of employee information. - Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies, as required.

B. Office Management -

  • Oversee the overall office operations, including facilities management, maintenance, and supplies procurement.

  • Coordinate and manage office administrative duties, such as managing correspondence, phone calls, mail, and scheduling appointments and meetings.

  • Ensure the office is clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary technology and supplies.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts and service agreements to maintain cost-effective operations.

  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Address employees' office-related needs, concerns, and inquiries, providing necessary support, resources, and solutions.

Team Leadership: -

  • Lead and develop a high-performing administrative team, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.

  • Identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for employee skill enhancement.

  • Conduct regular team meetings, evaluate team performance, and ensure the team's devotion to policies, procedures, and performance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10 year experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the real estate industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.  Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
