Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Manager to join our team in the medical equipment sector with a background in pharmacy. This role oversees the technical aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and efficient management of medical equipment. Some responsibilities include managing the import process, maintaining accurate inventory, overseeing quality control, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience in handling medical devices or equipment logistics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the entire medical equipment import process, including regulatory compliance, supplier relations, and logistics
Oversee inventory management, ensuring quality standards and avoiding stock-outs or overstock situations
Ensure compliance with EFDA regulations and other applicable standards
Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement
Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid operational delays
Periodically segregate and records damage and expired products
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth operations
Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates
Generate technical reports and performance analyses
Train and mentor team members on best practices and compliance
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Expereince: 3 - 5 years of working expereince
Certificate of competence for medicine and Medical Device importer License
Updated Health Professional Licensing Certificate
Strong Knowledge of EFDA regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Careful measurement and analytical skills
Good attention to detail
Communication and team working skills
Previous Technical Management Experience in the Medical Equipment Industry
