We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant III to perform complex accounting functions, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role is ideal for professionals with solid accounting experience who are ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to key financial operations and analysis.
Job Title: Accountant III
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Salary: Negotiable
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or in a related field of study
- Experience: 6 years for Master's and 8 years for Bachelor's Degree
