A Main Store Keeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory and storage operations within a warehouse or store. Their primary duties include receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock; ensuring proper storage and organization of goods; maintaining accurate inventory records; managing stock levels through regular audits; coordinating with procurement and sales teams for replenishment; and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials while maintaining accurate stock records.

• Receiving and inspecting merchandise for damage or discrepancies.

• Organizing and storing items in an accessible, orderly manner.

• Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular stocktaking and reporting.

• Managing stock rotation following methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out).

• Supervising staff and coordinating warehouse or store activities.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Accounting

• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience

• Knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures
