Job Description
HR Manager position in a food manufacturing operation, a strong foundation in HR principles and experience within the manufacturing or food industry is key. A bachelor's degree in a related field like HR, business, or food science is often required, and a master's degree or relevant professional certifications can be an advantage. Experience of at least 3-5 years in HR, preferably within the food industry or manufacturing, is also highly valued.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, HR, business, food science, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications can be beneficial.
Experience: 3-5+ years of HR experience, with a preference for experience in the food manufacturing or manufacturing sector.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant employment standards, health and safety regulations, and HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations in the food industry.
Communication and Interpersonal: Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial for managing employee relations and leading teams.
Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze HR data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage employees, especially in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Change Management: Experience in managing change initiatives and adapting to evolving business needs.

Positive attitude, proactive approach, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are important for success in this role.
