Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive HR and Administration specialist to manage all aspects of human resources within our growing company. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR processes, strong communication and the ability to handle complex employee-related situations with discretion and professionalism. In addition, this individual will be responsible for more traditional HR functions, such as recruitment, performance management, and maintaining employee records. The role will also include overseeing employee relations, handling legal compliance with local labor laws, managing disciplinary actions, promoting employee well-being, and representing the company in legal matters when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Records & Documentation:

  • Organize and maintain employee files, ensuring they are up to date and legally compliant.

  • Maintain records for performance reviews, leave balances, promotions, and terminations.

  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding concerns, grievances, or disputes.

  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees, management, and other teams.

  • Provide counseling and guidance to employees and managers to maintain a harmonious work environment.

  • Facilitate training and awareness sessions to improve workplace relations and communication.

Legal Compliance & Country Labor Laws:

  • Stay updated with local labor laws and ensure compliance with employment regulations.

  • Prepare and file necessary documentation for employee-related legal matters such as disciplinary actions, dismissals, and claims.

  • Represent the company in legal matters, including attending government offices and court hearings for employee-related issues.

  • Work closely with legal advisors to handle complex HR issues, including labor disputes and compliance audits.

Recruitment & Staffing:

  • Manage the recruitment process, from posting job openings to reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.

  • Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.

  • Ensure compliance with hiring laws and regulations during the recruitment process.

  • Assist with onboarding of new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the company effectively.

HR Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and issue HR-related documents, including contracts, warnings, and notices.

  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and other HR-related policies.

  • Coordinate training and development programs to improve employee skills and performance.

  • Support employees with day-to-day HR-related inquiries and concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • Experience: 4 - 8 years of Previous experience handling complex HR issues, such as labor disputes, terminations, and legal matters.

  • Experience handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and legal matters.

  • Experience in recruitment, employee performance management, and HR administration.

  • Certification in HR is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, employment regulations, and legal practices.

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee matters.

  • Willingness to visit government offices, attend court hearings, and represent the company in legal matters when required.
