Job Description
The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the organization by handling information requests, performing clerical functions, preparing reports and correspondence, and scheduling meetings and appointments.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Reports To: Deputy CEO
Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Provide general support to visitors.
Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or in a related field of study with relevant work experience
Experience: 2 years proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
High School diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
Experience in HR and logistics management.
Familiarity with office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
